B24 Liberator 4.5in InAir Diecast Model
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was used by every branch of the United States military during WWII as well as other Allied forces. Although the B-24 was faster, could carry more, and had a greater range than the B-17 Flying Fortress, it was more difficult to fly and due to the placement of the fuel tanks it had a tendency to catch fire.
Despite this, the Liberator is the most-produced American military aircraft in history with over 18,400 units. Its success in WWII was thanks to its high payload and its long range.
Model measures 4.5. These detailed, quality die cast airplanes are perfect for collecting or for building your own miniature air force.
