Description
Native of the steppes of Central Asia, the Bactrian camel, also called the camel with two bumps, belongs to the family Camelidae. Unlike the Dromedary camel, this camel is equipped with two dorsal bumps and more abundant fur. It is able to adapt to the most extreme climatic conditions: hot and dry summers and harsh and snowy winters, but also able to live relatively long without water.
